Miller Ecological Park

About Will & Harriet Miller Ecological Park
This 97-acre community park was dedicated in 2013 as Lebanon's only ecological park.  The park offers nearly 3 miles of trails including both gravel and natural surface.  There are three pollinator friendly gardens, the rain garden at the edge of the parking lot, the Butterfly Garden maintained by the Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs, and the Girl Scout Garden.  Native prairies and tree planting are  slowly becoming established throughout the park.  There is a Nature Playscape for kids to explore, next to the "Miller Mountain" the sledding hill.  The Shawn Steinke Memorial Labyrinth is open for thoughtful meditation.  Many Eagle Scout projects have added to the park including the bird watching blind, benches, exercise features, kiosks, and numerous bridges.

Educational programs are lead at the park generally on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. on a variety of natural resources and environmental topics.  Click here for more information on upcoming programs.

View a trail map here.

The Miller Park Trustees and Steering Committee are in the process of raising money to build a restroom facility at the Park.  As part of the fundraising process, they are selling engraved pavers that will be installed along the gravel path leading from the parking lot to the archway.  The cost is $75 through the end of 2020, then they will go up to $100.  If you are interested, here is a link to the order form.

Premier Health  Atrium Medical Center Bike Park

About the Premier Health Atrium Medical Center Bike Park

This 112-acre bike park is unique to southwest Ohio.  It offers something for all ages and skill level from beginners on balance bikes to pro's!  Rider can chose from a variety of features including beginner and intermediate paved pump tracks, a mountain bike skills area, two jumplines, a gravel perimeter trail, a one mile cyclocross course, and two miles of mountain bike trail.

View a trail map here

Be aware, the mountain bike trails, cyclocross course, and jumplines all have natural riding surfaces (aka dirt).  They are periodically closed during wet periods after rain or snow events when the ground isn't frozen.  If you are on the trails and notice you are picking up mud on your tires or leaving tracks, it is time to get off the trail.  Riding on wet trails causes ruts and leaves a lot of work for volunteers to keep the trails safe and ride able.   For updates on trail closures you can follow on the Premier Health Bike Park Facebook Page or at Cincinnati Off Road Alliance (CORA) website.

For more information regarding this park, please visit the Premier Health Bike Park website, https://www.lebanonohio.gov/departments/parks___recreation/city_parks/lebanon_bike_park.php
