City Council Approves New Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan

City Council has approved a new Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) which outlines roadway, utility and park improvement project priorities over the next five years. The plan provides direction on infrastructure investments, the City’s annual roadway paving program and grants to be pursued to support the plan. The CIP calls for the City spending over $46 million on roadway improvements between 2023 and 2027, as well as significant investments in the electric, water and sanitary sewer utility systems. To support the plan, the City will pursue over $17 million in State and Federal grants.  To view the Capital Improvement Plan for a complete list of projects, please click here.
